Terminated membership after paying and months of being ignored.

After ignoring my emails since February to transfer my membership contribution to my personal bank account after resigning from a linked employer, I finally managed to receive the go ahead from them that I can make a manual EFT for this month since it was too late for the debit order. I could not make payment before the confirmation as the contributions paypoint was still linked to my previous employer, and this was confirmed by Bonitas. So I make immediate payment after they let me know it has been moved to my own name, and a week later I receive an email my membership has been terminated. After numerous phone calls, emails and runaround, they finally allocate my payment. But do they reinstate my membership? No, so I am still sitting without the medical aid that I paid for in cash. Did you see my almost R8000 as a donation this month? I will personally get legal help to hold Bonitas accountable for any medical treatment that we as a family might need while we wait for them to fix this enormous mess!
