SYNAGIS INJECTION REJECTION FOR PREMATURE BABY

I have a premature baby boy, born at 28 weeks weighing 870gram.<br> He was on cpap for almost 60 days and was in hospital for 86 days.<br> We have submitted lettters for the approval of the synagis injection which was rejected because I am on the standard option.<br> My son than end April got the RS Virus and was submitted in ICU for almost two weeks.<br> <br> I can not believe that Bonitas will not take into account all of the above and than reject this injection again.<br> <br> I can not think that the 14days in ICU will be cheaper for the medical aid than the injection.<br> <br> I would think that bonitas will think of an innocent baby and reconsider their attitude on this matters otherwise you leave me no option but to consider leaving bonitas and going to another medical aid which will think of an innocent little baby.<br>
