Suspension of Medical Aid and Follow up thereof

To whom it may concern

Since the merger with Bonitas, the service has gone to the dogs. At the end of January 2017 the annual increase took place. I was not notified in any form what so ever when the new increased rate will be deducted from my account. I did phone Bonitas and all they said was an email was sent in October regarding the increase, but to no avail no proper date was given???

The problem started so I paid in manually the R1590.00 for the month of Jan (on the 7th Jan 2017 ) and the other R200.00 on the 28th of January. February deductions as per normal again. Funny enough my fiance phoned this morning and I was still suspended. When he asked why was I still suspended the call centre answered per the usual, it is the customer responsibility to ensure the accounts/ call centre is kept up to date? Let me assure you all emails with POP proof of payment was sent to the relevant departments? Why was this not fixed? So, I have been suspended for while longer, and does Bonitas care...NO? Since everything is so automated at Bonitas have they lost the Human relations factor/ CRM when it comes to customers?

On another note a debit order was done on my behalf from Bonitas without my consent for the extra R200.00 I owed?

I am moving my services to another Medical Aid. You have lost your focus on your customer service?
