Stay away from Bonitas as a pregnant woman

If you're a woman who is planning to have a family, please stay away from Bonitas, BonEssential select medical aid plan. It is the most stressful plan ever. Whoever decides on hospital and specialist networks, decides on them from the top of their heads.

Does it make sense to you to have a gynae at another hospital and then the hospital be different. I went through the same thing in 2021, and I thought they would at least come to their senses, but still nothing has changed.

I chose a gynae at Netcare Olivedale hospital because I don't have a car and it's the closest and most convenient for me with a Uber. Again they are telling me about co-payments? Whose fault is it that they can't use their brains to think ? On top of that the scans are 2 and I have to pay R1000 every time I visit the gynae, and now I must stress about co-payments.

They are frustrating , you will never enjoy your pregnancy, because it's stress after stress.
