SHOCKING SERVICE

This is my second review in the last 2 2 weeks last review was about the Chronic department and that I had submitted three motivations for my daughter's medication and we still have not been given approval we don't mind if there's a co-payment but she needs the medication.

For the past 2 days I have been trying to get hospital authorization. I have sent through the doctors motivation of two pages long describing every procedure code every icd-10 number what the medication is what needs to be done with an MRI to verify the information given. I have not managed to be helped first I get a letternof pre-auth. Then telephonicallynto my broker and doctor they say that they will not honor it because they need the medication levels. The doctor then supp**** medication levels, when I phone to follow up I am then told they need the name of the medication, so I run around and get the name of the medication. I get 'transferred' to have the issue escalated, and I go back to pre-auth, go through all my details again, get 'transferred' back to pre-auth again!!! 4 times I went through this process!! Eventually someone says they will get back to me later today, the op is tomorrow, but they don't know when, nobody can help me. This is literally a repeat procedure of one I had last year but with a different doctor. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis so it is necessary!!! I don't know what's happening with the change of administration, but everything has become such a struggle we are VERY disappointed with the run around we have been given about every little thing.
