Shocking Disgusting Terrible Service

<p>I was a member of Bonitas medical aid scheme for a good 3 years through my previous employer, I then terminated the medical aid when I left employment with the company in 2015 August. A year and a half later some lawyers company call me to tell me I owe Bonitas a good R1800!!!!! question 1. why wait 1 year and couple months to let me know about this debt??????? I then call the medical aid to find answers a very arrogant Sphamandla answers the phone and tells me the statement was send to my previous employers email address.... Question2. How would I have access to my previous employers email address?I left that employment, I don't have access to that email...why have you not called me? "they (Bonitas) only communicate via email, and their finance dept does not know that I left employment" How ridiculous is that??? How can their finance department not know I left employment? when I asked to speak to the finance dept Sphamandla told me that it will not change anything, I will still have to pay the R1800...now that I'm no longer a member I don't matter neh...Mind you the medical aid has my personal cell phone number not once did they try to call me, to let me know about this! a year and a half later that money has accumulated interest and I have to pay that...I am taking this to the Ombudsman!</p> <p> </p> <p>Yours trully</p> <p>A very unhappy Penina</p>
