*********** SERVICE BONITAS

Most probably the worst medical aid in history. I went to hospital for a emergency in april 2025, hospital account came to R20764.16 of which bonitas only paid for R14672.68. when i queried this they said that we don't have cover for prosthesis. I brought to there attention that I am covered for that under PMB there answer was that the doctor should have submitted a quote first before they proceeded with the operation. ( Remember this was and emergency not a planed procedure). After numerous conversations with them and no commitment from Bonitas to pay, I have decided to settle the balance with the Hospital so my account with them will be null. This done I continued the fight with Bonitas for the balance that I have paid. with no Luck. in September I received a statement from the hospital that I owe them money. (what a shock as the account was settled in april). When investigated it was noticed that BONITAS has on 14 August reversed the payment of R14672.68 and then repaid them a less amount of R13314.77. THIS IS ABSOLUTLY REDICULOIS, HOW CAN YOU REVERS A PAYMENT 4 MONTHS LATER AND NOW DECIDE YOU PAY LESS. This was taken up with BONITAS we get reference numbers and they give 20 working days to get back to you, However this never happens this has been going on now From August and still not resolved in November. I THINK I WILL CANCEL MY MEDICAL AID WITH BONITAS. I DONT THINK THERE IS ANY WORDS THAT CAN DISCRIBE THE PATHETIC SERVICE FROM BONITAS. *********** *********** ***********!!!!!!!!!!!!!
