Seriously!!!!!!

Midvaal Private hospital requested authorisation on my behalf for an ablation and sterilisation on the 9th of April. I spoke to Bonitas on the 13th of April and was informed that authorisation had been given for the procedure. Today at 15h15 I get a call from the hospital telling me that Bonitas has just informed them there will be a co-payment of R 4969.00. How am I supposed to get something sorted out 45minutes before closing time on a Friday afternoon when my procedure is scheduled for the Monday morning at 6 o'clock????? I am a working mother I have made arrangements for someone to look after my children, arranged for time of work during a quiet time of the month and now I must just cancel everything because of the poor timing and service from Bonitas!!!! This is unacceptable! I will pay the co-payment but someone from Bonitas better take responsibility for this.
