Bonnitas chronic management department is on a drive to save cost ie cutting out sending on patients chronic medication...
They are achieving this by eliminating all inforumla medication groups..... Inforumla groups basically means that a chronic medication can be used...
How do you find it logically possible to completely have no alternative medication... even a generic...
Do you expect the medical professional assesing the patient to wave out a wand and create a new out of formula medication to supplement a chronic illness symptoms
I am currently struggling to walk...my chronic medication has not been send to me in two months.. Bonnitas didn't have the decency to inform me that they will be not paying fully for my medication any more.....I have contacted the chronic management department email ...no response... After a 3rd call I asked bonnitas can you not supply me with generic medication since your company ultimatum is to cut cost and not provide an ethical medical service
I have visited the Docter 4 Times paying cash for my last month's medication.... This doesn't make sense as a new years fund will be active in all of my medical funds
Should I land Up in hospital how much would it cost you Bonnitas....??????
I m not in a space to waste or abuse any funds hence my request for help....
My nearest hospital is 400kms away...I live in a mining town with zero resources with regards to proper medical facilities...my specialist is 1000kms away....
I wonder what happens to a person that has a life threatening chronic illness....

The next day I have received a phone call from bonnitas
During this conversation I was promised that the specialist would be contacted and all would be taken care of...
I wonder if the call centre had run of airtime. ..
Bonnitas have requested that I try alternative medication -
I have no issues to this as it would have not disrupted on my daily schedule In addition also remained in graduattidy to receive any form of medication to suppress my chronic illness
Should the patient require the proper specialist precisiped medication an extra co payment is required on top of the medical aid premium
...
Bonnitas still requires you to take off work go to the specialist.... repay a consultation...in my case a 1000kms away...
You need to inform the specialist that bonnitas wants to test different medication on your body...
Be noted that the specialist nor the patients have requested any of these changes
Note that this month co payment have been billed again....
Questions in query.....
Why does the customer have to incure extra costs after being honest to the general public.. ?
Where are your channels of communication.....??
Would your budget be damaged is it so difficult for you to give proper feedback to the service provider dispatching the medication???
Do you find it cheaper to communicate on hello Peter????
