Reporting of Network GP- Practice Number ***

I went to consult my closest GP on 19/02/2016 for a referral to a specialist, the doctor was very negative towards my medical aid scheme and assured me that im wasting my time because ive opted for a budget plan and that I should not get my hopes up high as they never pay for anything, the doctor made me feel so hopeless as I really need to consult a specialist, he was very rude and showed no sympathy towards my situation, he than requested that I should collect the letter as per his surprise the medical aid approved the authorisation. The doctor already submitted a claim for the consultation on 19/02/2016 an amount of R360, and than upon collection of the letter he requested I sign a receipt again for him to submit a claim AGAIN, when I questioned this the doctor got very angry and tore the referral letter up and practically told me to change my GP because he does not work for free and that I should not question him. I eventually left very shocked at his behaviour and when contacted my medical aid I was assured that the Doctor is not ALLOWED to charge twice for one request. I am so hurt by the manner in which the doctor handled the situation and treated me. I am so shocked!!!!
