Reinstatement of Membership

I am writing this formal complain to express my profound dissatisfaction and extreme concern regarding the ongoing, systemic service failures I have experienced as a loyal member of Bonitas Medical Fund.Despite my consistent compliance with all membership obligations, including the timely payment of my monthly contributions, my membership has been repeatedly and erroneously suspended. On multiple occasions, I have provided proof of payment that your department has confirmed was both received and correctly allocated. Yet, despite these confirmations, the suspension on my account remains active, effectively cutting off my access to the healthcare services for which I am paying.This is not merely a matter of administrative inconvenience; it has escalated into a life-threatening crisis. My daughter is a Type 1 Diabetic who is entirely dependent on a consistent supply of insulin to function and survive. I was only made aware of the most recent suspension when I was notified by the pharmacy that my daughter's life-saving medication could not be dispensed due to my "inactive" status.As a parent, it is harrowing to be placed in a position where I must "chase after" a service provider for the basic rights guaranteed under my policy, especially when the health and safety of my child are at stake. This lack of accountability and the recurring failure to maintain accurate account statuses constitutes a severe breach of service and potentially a violation of the Medical Schemes Act.I hereby demand the following immediate actions:Immediate Reinstatement: The immediate and permanent lifting of the suspension on my membership today to ensure my daughter can access her insulin without further delay.Formal Explanation: A written explanation as to why my account continues to be flagged for suspension after payment has been verified by your own staff.Please be advised that if this matter is not resolved by the close of business today, I will have no choice but to escalate this complaint to the Council for Medical Schemes (CMS) and seek legal counsel regarding the endangerment of my daughter’s health.
