Attention: Medscheme / Bonitas CEO<br> Me and my partner had a medical aid with Bonitas (old membership number ***) were I was a dependent and she was a main remember, after she lost her work/job we immediately cancelled the membership and I opened my own membership with Bonitas as a main member (new membership number ***).<br> <br> Three Months later we started to receive calls telling us she going to be black listed because we in debt to Bonitas for R5000.I fail to understand why Bonitas would treat us like this after we became for reliable to them.<br> While doing my reach trying to find out answers, it came to my information that we are not the only customers Bonitas tried to black list after they cancel their medical aid. I currently stopped paying my new membership because I don't know whether to continue with Bonitas or try another medical aid.<br> This type of practice need to be expose to the public via print and Broadcast media, so people may know that by joining Bonitas and what will happen to them if for whatever reason in future decide to cancel their membership.
