PENSIONER SUSPENDED DUE TO NO EMAIL RESPONSE
My Mother has been with Bonita's for a while now and she has had no issues with her medication and services from them until she had to Provide Proof of Income for her rates she is getting. She is on Chronic heart medication and needs these pills monthly, Bonita's has now suspended her for not sending the proof of income before the 1st of March 2015. The call centre just says she was notified on email. She is a Pensioner that was ****** off her phone in November and didn't have money to buy a new one until recently to get her emails. The have never phoned her to remind her of the request they have emailed to her. Now They want almost R4000.00 from her and then they will lift the suspension on May 2015. I find this completely up hauling as a pension being divorced being penalized for not being on email and now refusing to give medication for her condition that they are FULLY aware off. I would personally not leave this standing here as the Call Centre agent on the 23rd commented that once they work on the forms they will lift the suspension ASAP for her medication to be delivered on time. She now has no medication left and stand a chance to have a heart attack and or stroke.
