Payment towards Medical aid.

We made a payment this morning for our current active medical aid. But the bank defaulted the payment reference to an old medical aid reference number. I have been struggling for customer care to understand that they must take this payment and allocate to our current medical aid. Please is there someone that can assist us probably and that will understand that the payment reference on the bank is incorrect and that the payment should go to our current medical aid.
