Pay back the money

My previous employer required that I use Bonitas Medical Aid as a preferred medical aid scheme. I have resigned from my previous employment and 5 months has elapsed. The previous company's HR department explained that they cannot get much joy of having the remaining funds in my BonSave account to be paid out to me. I decided to contact Bonitas directly via email, but still no joy. At this stage is seems that I will never get my money paid out to me. Ironically the pay-out value is not of a very large amount, so what is the delay?
