Not paying claims, not responding to queries

<p>so a quote with motivation is sent to medical for approval (or at least that is what the practice and i thought). The medical aid says quotes and motivations that are sent is not for approval... then why is it sent? for reading when the Bonitas staff have time? No it for BONITAS to provide feedback in a timely manner to give the go ahead to claim or not and provide reasons. well Bonitas felt the need not to respond. when the claim was again attemted in the new year Bonitas was quick to advise this benifit no longer exists but if you claimed in 2016 it would have been approved.... So why didnt the respond in 2016 (ref 070916QXTTR3) today 22/05/2017 (10:48am) bonitas consultant confirms they recieved Quote and Motivation and confirms that Bonitas had to feedback to approve claim, this was not done now in 2017 the benifit does not exist and due to the fact that it now doesnt exist they refuse to pay..... Sorry buy that is just pure BS you as Bonitas are liable for the payment of this as it was requested in the year the benifit existed.</p>
