I went from one medical aid straight to yours. Top plans as well. <br> I pay R5500 a month ..Under your terms and conditions .<br> It states waiting periods only apply if I have been without a medical aid for more than 90 days. <br> <br> Your call centre now says it's,because of my age and Pre medical.. I am going for a problem with my ears <br> Now I must cough up R10000.00.. <br> <br> I don't this is fair as I followed what the below says and was supp**** to me. I want to take this matter further as I went straight to you. <br> <br> Nothing about age mentioned <br> Yoy say :<br> Waiting periods for new applicants According to the Medical Schemes Act, Bonitas may impose a general waiting period of up to 3 months and a condition-specific waiting period of up to 12 months on you or your dependants if, you or your dependants were not beneficiaries of a medical scheme for a period of at least 90 days before you app**** to join Bonitas Medical Fund. The condition specific waiting period will apply to medical conditions that existed before you joined the Fund.
