No Payment from Bonitas - First Time Mother

My husband have been on Bonitas since i can remember, once we got married he took me as a dependent on his Medical Aid - Currently we are on the Primary option on Bonitas Medical aid and our monthly costs is just over R3000. We found out we are expecting our first child on the 22nd of Dec and went to our GP/ He gave a referral letter to go see a gynea. I phoned Bonitas to make sure what i need to have to register my pregnancy with them and to go for my First consultation. I was told on the Primary option I only need a referral letter and that the Gynea's ICD10 codes will register me as pregnant with the Medical aid. <br> So, we went for the consultation with the referral letter.<br> When i logged onto our Medical Aid this morning, i saw that Bonitas are NOT GOING TO PAY for the consultation, The Modifier is R0.00. When I phoned the Customer Care, they could not tell me why and said they will get back to me before 12 today, its now 13:00 and no answer.<br> This is very traumatic and is causing stress for me and the baby as we rely on the medical aid to cover for these expenses as they promise!!! <br> <br> I will take this further as they are putting me and my baby at risk!
