No investigation done
Submitted supporting documents for my child's special walking equipment from Orthotist. All documentation indicating without the walking equipment my daughter wont be able to walk. Case sent to special cases department, they came back saying they only going to fund R5042.55 per family per annum. Quote for equipment amounted to R18791.62. I have to pay the difference. Special cases department does not even investigate the matter. they slide it aside hen come back with feedback outside of their SLA.
