No interest in Customers health or well- being
Bonitas Medical Aid Fund has no emphasis no customer relations and do not consider the dreaded disease of the liver as death threatening, this is obvious by the following: - they don't have the Donald Gordon Medical Centre on their Network for Liver Transplant, yet, they are a DSP and the only hospital who can provide this service I. South Africa. - the after care post liver transplant is of critical importance to ensure not rejection. I am 4 months post liver transplant in rejection, going into my 5th month. - why isn't this hospital on your network? - why do I have to endure the stress of probable death, financial ruin sue to the extreme copayment issue. - the Professor treating me has provided you with a LOM letter of motivation, why must this happen everytime I am called back for re-admission. - the initial approval was given for the liver transplant included the aftercare and possible re-admission should there be a possibility of rejection. - seems to me, Bonitas is more concerned in saving money, although patients already pay an arm and leg for medical cover than being concerned for the health and well-being of their customers. - It is not my desire to keep being re-admiited, I have no choice, it's live or due. But I cannot keep taking out loans just to cover a copayment when I believe this hospital should be on your network for such Transplants and aftercare.
