No feedback - PMB LETTER

All the documentation was send through and I received a letter on 8 November 2016 of approval by the Bonitas ambulatory PMB team. See all hospitalization requests for 2016, the diagnoses code also indicated that I am a ******* hemiplegic.</p> <p>The problem is that the wrong diagnoses/ codes were captured by the Bonitas team, the original request, stated that I am a ******* hemiplegia (cerebral Palsy) and G81.1 particular as from Prof Mennen letter and not a paraplegia/quadriplegia and this is not correct as I am hemiplegic. <br />Thus where did this paraplegia/quadriplegia approval code was obtained from is a mystery. I did send mail to correct it but with no feedback as on today.<br />Attached find again letter from Dr Visser and Prof Mennen, stating that I am a hemiplegic since birth and do qualify to be on a care plan and expenses must be paid from PMB funds and risk pool.</p> <p>******* Hemiplegia is PMB as per council for medical Schemes (regulation 8 of the Medical Schemes act)</p> <p>Please capture ICD CODES G80–G83 ******* Hemiplegia is PMB as per council for medical Schemes (regulation 8 of the Medical Schemes act)</p> <p>******* Hemiplegia: Prescribe minimum benefits (G80–G83) Cerebral palsy and other paralytic syndromes IS COVERED AS PMB other paralytic syndromes THUS Bonitas medical aid, is legally obliged by law to pay all accounts. <br />Kind Regards</p>
