No benefits after 30 years as a member

I am utterly disgusted that after being a member for 30 years, I have to have a procedure done and the hospital plan doesn't have hospital benefits. I am on the bonessential option, being unemployed but still using our last money to stay on medical aid, just so that we can have a hospital benefit. Now when I need to have a dental procedure in hospital, I'm being told that it's declined due to this option not offering in hospital dentistry. I can understand for day to day benefits yes, but for an in hospital surgery, you don't cover on a hospital benefit? I have never heard of something like this. Considering that we've been a member for so long, this is the type of treatment you get?
