Need glasses to see better when i get ********** by my Medical Aid.
Ai ai ai. ********** again by my medical aid!! Today i went for my first eye test ever in my life. Done the tests and everything, ended up i need glasses. Go to the counter do everything, plus i got a huge discount by Spec Savers. My bill came out to R4956.00 where as Spec Savers paid R2904.00, then i was left with R2052.00 and the medical aid paid R1108.00 and i had to pay R944.00 in. My gosh, the first time and i have to pay in 46% in of my actual claim. Now i know i had a shortfall of R100 as i am allowed a Frame of R395.00 (Laughing) and i took a frame of R1995.00 because of the R1500.00 discount on the frame. But it is really ridiculous to say the least as to what the medical aid pays out.
