Misled by John Hlalethwa of Tenda Health

I wanted to join Bonitas as I was with Health Squared, previously Resolution Health. I had been on that medical aid for many yrs. Before that, I was with NMP. I am now retired and obviously need a medical aid considering the state of public health care. I contacted Bonitas but was redirected to Tenda Health. I dealt with John Hlalethwa. I was quoted R 3393 per month. As I was still a member of Health Squared I was asked to first resign from my current Med Aid scheme. This I did. I was never informed, firstly that there would be a waiting period and secondly that there would be a penalty for late joining, even though I'd been a member of the same medical scheme for the last 10 yrs. I am now paying a monthly premium of R4,600. I have copies of all my correspondence with Tenda Health and Bonitas regarding this dispute. I believe I was misled and want to warn others.
