Migration from commed to bonitas

My mother MT Thole has been a member of Commed medical (medical aid no. ********** 05) for close to 20 years. She received letters through emails that she is now a member of Bonitas Medical Aid (membership no. ********** 9068).

I am so dissatisfied for the following reasons:

• There was no communication about the migration from Commed to Bonitas • She was never given an opportunity to indicate if she wishes to be part of Bonitas or not • She doesn’t even know the option she's covered under • She doesn’t know what benefits she's entitled to

Later on she received an email that she owes Bonitas Medical Aid R7 756.00 and a letter including their banking details which means she has to pay that total amount not even in installments. At the same time her medical aid has never stopped deducting.

They contacted her Payroll to deducted money from her without informing her.
