Medical cover over the age of 65

When one has reached the age of 65, Bonitas no longer covers you when you go outside SA borders. When one flies, you can use your credid card to pay for your ticket and get medical cover free. However if you drive to Namibia by car you are not covered. As a pensioner I am forced to take out medical insurance for me and my wife at a cost of R 1600 for three weeks. Our own Medi Clinic is in Namibia with the same tariffs as here in SA. So what is the problem? Is Bonitas a good Medical scheme??? not so shure
