Medical aid wrongly suspended

I am very disappointed in Bonitas Medical aid. I spoke to a agent in October/November that assisted with me joining effective 1st January 2025 for my 5-month-old son and myself and set my payment up as a Debit order. On the 14th of January I received a message stating I have R505.00 outstanding which made no sense as I have not even used my medical aid. I spoke to a agent on the 20th of January on the WhatsApp line to please assist as to what this was for and confirmed it was a shortfall as the medical aid did not include in the debit charge the savings portion. I am really not happy with this as what is then the actual point of setting up a debit order if the amounts will then be wrongly deducted and I need to worry about Bonitas deducting wrong amounts causing shortfalls which are not my fault. I did also raise my frustration with him. He then mentioned that the shortfall/arrears amount would be deducted on the next debit order in which again I was not happy as I work on a budget, I’m a single mom with a 6 month old, I don’t just have additional money lying around. He mentioned that I could change my start date to the 1st of Feb, why change as I need to be covered from January as I have no other medical to cover for January. I went on to then ask what the total amount would then be deducted on the 1st of Feburay in which he gave me a break down. Ok fine, every one makes mistakes, not a good look on Bonitas as I have issues on my 1st month. Where my biggest issue comes in, is i received a SMS as well as a email on the 21st of January to say my medical aid has been suspended. This is unacceptable!!!! Not once in that conversation with the consultant was it mentioned that my medical aid could be suspended, please bare in mind I spoke to two different people after that and both said it should have been mentioned. Why exactly tell me it will be deducted at the end of the month when my medical aid will be suspened?? I have a 6 month old baby, what would have happened if anything happened to him?? Who would have been liable?? Where would he have ended up as a suspended medical aid means no medical aid?? Also, how unfair to actully go as far as suspending my medical aid due to a mistake done by you, not by myself. This is very disheartning and im highly dissapointed as this is what I need to deal with on the 1st month joining your medical aid. Right i then went on to pay the outstanding amount right away to uplift the suspension. Again spoke to two different consultants and confirmed that they received the payment and the suspension is uplifted, great. But sadly it did not end there, only to open my emails the following day to find yet again another email heading, in caps might i add "ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF OUTSTANDING DEBT" after the entire fight and numerous conversations yesterday i receive a mail like this.
