MEDICAL AID CANCELLATION

In 2013/03/31 I cancelled the medical aid as I left the company and did not need the medical aid. Resignation forms were submitted to Bonitas through the company and everything was settled. <br> I received an sms in November 2015 advising I was handed over for outstanding fees. I called asked how that was possible because according to my knowledge all outstanding payment was supposed to have been paid on my resignation from the scheme in 2013. I have never received any communication on the matter and when I asked how communication was sent I was advised that they only send emails (email adress which was not in use since 2013 because resigned). I asked the consultant how they could send communication to an email address of a company i no longer work for. No response was given.<br> In feb 2014 and May 2015 may I spoke to bonitas and was given a tax certificate for the old account number and was never advised of any outstanding amount on the plan.<br> How is it possible to be given the clear but there are outstanding balances?<br> How is it that i do not receive any communication yet the account is handed over?<br>
