Matter still not resolved by Bonitas Medical Aid: Membership Nr: *** Case Nr: 040825Q2DP7S / MI*** Medical aid was cancelled by client and Bonitas sent email as well as statement indicating R0,00 balance on account. Now Bonitas is insisting that client is required to pay R1728,00 and handed over client at ITC for outstanding fee that is indicated as a “written off” fee on statement. Bonitas states: “Please note that the “written off” reflected on the statement refers to the amount being removed from our accounting records and subsequently handed over to collections for ITC listing. The outstanding debt of R1728,00 remains valid” This is unacceptable as my closing communication with Bonitas when this account was closed is that nou outstanding funds are required. This matter was numerously reported here and communicated with Bonitas and ITC, still Bonitas choose to pursue this matter.
