Lack of Response to Queries
Please note that I am making a follow up on this e-mail that I have sent to Bonitas on Monday, 21/02/2022, and was given the following query number(s) is : 210222Q074HR and : 210222Q074FP,
Dear Willem and Bonitas,
Kindly note that I acknowledge a receipt of your response e-mail dated 18 January 2022 whereby Bonitas purports to have rectified my medical aid cover retrospectively. However, I cannot agree with Bonitas’ retrospective remedial that my medical aid cover was suspended from 01-Jan-2022 and reinstated on 01-Jan-2022 (as per the table below) when I was officially informed by Bonitas in January 2022 that I do not have cover and I could not benefit from Bonitas service. I have also went to the chemist (Orchards Pharmacy to be precise) in January and February 2022, and I was again informed that my medical aid cover has been suspended. Why now?
Membership Title Initials Surname ID Number Suspension Date Suspension End Date Reason *** Mr SS SENAMOLELE *** 01-Jan-2022 01-Jan-2022 Persal movements processed
In addition, I was again informed by Ms Andiswa Maqhungu on 16-Feb-2022 that my medical aid cover is still suspended when I enquired why the February 2022 monthly contribution was not deducted from my salary. Bonitas cannot want to hold me accountable for its incompetency as when I app**** to join the medical aid scheme, I have comp**** with all the requirements (please see the attached e-mail for further details). It is recorded that I was not covered in January and February 2022 and I would like to implore Bonitas to do the ethical thing and accept failure on their part and we all amicably agree to start on a clean slate and my cover be effective from 01-Mar-2022 or simply allow me to go back and reinstate my medical aid cover with Profmed because that is feasible.
