Lack of communication From day one

<p>I went on Friday the 26th of June exactly a week before my sons surgery, got told that I will get the authorization number on Wednesday the 31st by email. Never received any email from Bonitas. Went personally again to Bonitas on Thursday the 1st of June (yesterday) a day before my sons surgery, been there from 10:30am to 1:30pm, got the authorization number for everything. Then I got home and was hit with a message from Bonitas to say that there is a co payment of R6000 to pay the hospital since it's not under or linked under my medical aid. Why was I not told on Friday the 26th of June to go to another hospital under my medical aid? My son needs the surgery it can not wait any longer, he has been sick for two weeks and can't wait for another week. This is lack of communication from Bonitas to the client they could of told me from day one to find a hospital under my medical aid option. So you get an authorization number a day before the surgery and then you get told that there is a co payment of that amount? What can I do about this matter? I'm a single mom and not working, just taken for a ride. Why is the surgeon and anesthetist authorized under a hospital that is not under my medical aid? And the hospital it self is not authorized this is beyond very bad service from Bonitas. I should have been told on the 26th of June that I need to go to another hospital that I was not going to be covered under milpark. </p>
