It is like a horror movie with no ending

I joined Bonitas along with my father, at the beginning of this year due to the amalgamation with Liberty Medical Aid Scheme, what a Nightmare.

They never call back or professionally settle customer complaints. I then decided to leave the medical aid (for myself and my father) for the end February and oh my gosh what a nightmare it's been. My medical aid was successfully removed, however, my fathers was not.

After initially failing to orchestrate a smooth transition from Liberty to Bonitas, by not making my father a dependent onto my medical aid, they now did not process his exit from the medical aid properly and tried to bill a medical aid he is no longer using at the end of February.

I have emails from Bonitas clearly stating:

Kindly be advised termination request for membership 2770.........and 77500.......... has been received and escalated to retention department for further assistance. 27 Jan

(and)

Good day

Please note as per request for termination.

One email cannot be used to terminate 2 memberships.

Please submit a separate email requesting termination of member number 277.............

Please submit the termination by tomorrow 17/02017 so as the membership can be terminated by the end February 2017.

Please send the email to **********
Thank you. 16 Feb

I then comp**** to the last email promptly and sent another email address to retentions. I heard nothing else from the medical aid until the end of the month of course when they tried to debit from my account for my father's medical aid. After calling and spending a lot of airtime trying to rectify this matter the poor service in dealing with the matter was taxing and often a waste of my time. They also have a poor response to emails and NEVER CALL.

Please Bonitas all I want to do is leave your poor service. I refuse to pay for a medical aid that my father is no longer using, and one I did give one month notice to exit from. Please do your jobs properly and remove my father from your system. I cannot afford to pay incorrectly billed debit orders, airtime to call you to rectify this matter, and my time to a service I regard as below satisfactory.

Sincerely,

Very Unhappy
