Insensitive Bonitas

My son had a brain tumor removal operation in 2010. The removal was successful, however he was left disabled on the left side. He could still function with the right sight and was mobile, two years down the he started to regress in many aspects, mobility, speech, constant epileptic fits, even thought the tumor is not regrowing. He cannot walk anymore and he needs a wheelchair that can assist him with correct posture, so we can avoid further damage to the spine and help him with proper sitting. On the 5th of January, we send a passionate motivation with all the necessary info asking for Bonitas to fund the wheelchair, which costs around R3500, and its not even an electronic one. Every time I made follow ups, at their call centre I'm told different stories and at some point was told it takes 20 days to get a response. I called again on the 5th of February and got hold of a supervisor by the name of Bianca Peters, who promised to follow and get back to me, nothing to date. In the meantime, my child is suffering, whilst I have a medical aid that I have been a member of for the past 15 years. The main reference to my follow ups is 050118QK4SL9. I am desperate and need at least a response, not just silent and inhuman treatment like this, and it surely cannot take their medical panel this long to make a decision.
