Inefficient and unsympathetic service

Boncap *** references MI***] - *** [MI***] My GP referred me to a gynaecologist in Port Elizabeth and being entitled to three specialist visits per annum, or the value of R3 280 (Boncap plan) I made the appointment for 19 April. The doctor did a scan and prescribed medication. I received an invoice from the specialist advising me Boncap only paid R589.80 and there was an outstanding amount of R1 151.55. After my first query I was told he was not on their network, but his consulting room confirmed he was. Then Boncap said he is on the Bonitas network but not on Boncap? Then they wanted his practice number (which they clearly have) and then they told me they don't pay for sonars - all this correspondence going up and down and different explanations and avoiding the issue because they clearly don't want to pay. They honestly expect you to ask the busy specialist before he even touches you, to first phone them for approval for whatever he is going to do. I am really disgusted and bitterly disappointed with this service.
