In hospital treatment and Bonitas keeps saying it is an out patient treatment

I broke my femur and wrist last year March 2017 and was admitted in April 2017 to the Netcare Rehab in Auckland Park. While admitted there I had my stay extended with approval of the medical aid from the 18th-21st April. On the 18th and 19th April a Social worker came out to see me to help organize my way of life at home so that it would be easier for me when I came back home.

Since then this account has been bouncing backwards and forwards between the me, Dube and Pottas and the medical aid. The people at the call Centre are so *********** that they don't understand that my stay was extended and therefore it is not an outpatient account. The more I have tried to explain, the more I hit an obstacle with them.

The last explanation that one of these agents gave me was that they would not pay because Bonitas does not pay for Social Workers because they deal with people that are admitted for mental cases and not broken bones. Please note that there are different types of social workers my dear, to be clear there are child and family social workers that give you support when assistance is needed it's not only for mental cases.

I want this account from Dube and Pottas Inc -Social workers to be paid as soon as possible. The amount is R1098.80 and the date 18-19 April.

Bonitas is totally a waste of money and it is way too expensive. As a member you get nothing back from them and over and above this you deal with agents that do not know the product properly and put up obstacles when you have a query.
