IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A MEDICAL AID DO NOT! MAKE USE OF BONITAS !! I REPEAT DO NOT MAKE USE OF BONITAS. You will make a major mistake. I wish I could give this company less than one star rating. I received notice that my two beneficiaries was excepted and added to my policy on the 6th of June. By the 24th of June Bonitas told me that my benefits has been suspended as I have not paid for my two beneficiaries on the 1st of June. Then they tell me I will pay doubled in July because I "missed" a payment in june. I then cancelled the beneficiaries on the 25th of June and they responded on the 28th of June with a letter telling me that the beneficiaries was removed successfully. Yesterday on the 1st of July they still deducted not only the amount for the beneficiaries that I do not have on my plan BUT DOUBLE that too. Now I need to go to the bank and depute this ridiculous amount that they deducted and hope I will get my R 10 000.00 back.
