I rate Bonitas as the worst Medical Aid

I am a member of Bonitas Comprehensive *** 01. Bonitas refuses to pay for my wife’s Eylea injections to halt Macular Degeneration. In September last year they agreed to a few ex gratia payments. Now Bonitas effectively say that the Opthalmologist is not using the correct level of care for this condition which Bonitas quotes as “Vitrectomy; laser treatment; other surgery”. Unfortunately changing to another Medical Aid is not an option as I would lose the first year of any claims.
