Hospital Authorisation Declined for Emergency

<p>My husband was diagnosed with painful incarcerted umbilical hernia 2 days ago</p> <p>As per the motivation letter from the surgeon he urgently need surgery which is scheduled for 25/042017</p> <p>I have been trying to get authorisation for the procedure.</p> <p>As you can imagine being sick causes anxiety and to then have to deal with uncer*****iy of whether the procedure is covered is not exactly helping the situation. Sugery is in 2 days time and no idea if Bonitas is paying for the operatioon. We understand we are using a specialist outside network and have to pay co-paymnet, we understand we have to pay a co-payment for the scope at the hospital and is fine with it. We understand we have to pay the shortfall for the anstetic and is fine with it. We also understand if mesh is used to repair the hernia we have to pay for it's not covered on our option. So we understand and is happy to pay the shortfalls as we dont have gap cover but will appreciate authorisation for my husband to have the urgent procedure required and will appreciate any help an assistance to obtain this authorisation.</p> <p> </p> <p>thank you so much</p>
