Horrible medical aid for people with lifelong conditions

After having being a faithful client for close 6 years, my daughter was diagnosed as a type 1 diabetic. This medical fund would not even cover her insulin after she transitioned from the ICU to our home. I was forced to pay for a testing machine and strips out of my own pocket, as well as a copayment on her insulin pens as I was unable to make use of the required Pharmacy Direct - she needed insulin admitted within 2 hours from leaving the hospital but Bonitas insisted that I should have scanned and sent that doctor’s prescription to Pharmacy Direct, who would then review and courier the medication through in order to avoid a copayment. There is no way I could manage this as the insulin was required within the next 2 hours. This medical aid is ok until you actually need them to be there for you. Disgusting
