Hello there,the annual income verification process is a nightmare,as an unemployed individual I've submitted all documents to be processed,but to my dismay a letter from department of labour stating my unemployment is needed,I've previously given in a police affidavit and a commissioner of oaths letter stating my employment,that was accepted, What seems to be the problem this year? Why aren't those documents enough? The member has to go from place to place getting said documents which is very difficult.some offices in dept of labour and UIF states that they no longer issue letters of unemployment,in this case,what does the member do? Start the income verification from the top options of medical aid right down to the lowest options,not just the lower medical aid options. Bonitas really needs to rethink the verification process across all options.
