Focus on what really matters

I wonder sometimes why medical aid members are so quick to negatively criticise their medical aid providers for small administrative and/or technical errors in processing claims.

What really counts is when a loved one is admitted into hospital with little or no chance of survival. Bonitas Medical fund has covered 99% of over R2.8m hospital, doctors, specialist and surgeons bills while treating my father over the four months this year in ICU. Not once did Bonitas refuse to pay.

Unfortunately my father passed away, everyday he asked if the hospital bills were being covered until his last words a month before he slipped away.

Bonitas covered everything except a handful of blood tests. Thank you, and my mom thanks you too.
