Fed up want to find another medical aid

Unacceptable service. No reasonable alternatives provided.

For the second month running my chronic medication is not delivered in time. I had no choice but to use a local pharmacy and pay a considerable co-payment for a particular medication. What else could I do but pay.

2 July - script submitted to Pharmacy Direct 8 July - Bonitas process PD payment

11 July - around 11 July I run out of medication. I had to go to Clicks to get needed meds. Co-payment app****.

12 July - Pharmacy Direct notes I received meds from local pharmacy on 11/7. I won't get that particular med delivered until next month. 12 July - Bonitas processes a PD claim for chronics

15 July - PD confirms prescription has been captured 15 July - Dawn Wing courier confirms order and sends waybill number 16 July - Dawn Wing sends courier details, courier contact information (First time I notice PD use DW courier. Thank you Dawn Wing, your service rocks)

2 August - PD notifies of a change in medication (substitute generic) 7 August - Bonitas processes PD claim

14 August -PD notifies delivery sent. The PD1.. reference indicates that they using their usual notorious courier again - no expected delivery time or contact details of any sort.

15 August -I run out of the chronic med. Forced to buy at local pharmacy. Then there is an accounting problem on the system because Bonitas has already alloted this month's payment to PD.

16 August -(Monday) I drop my commitments and wait at home for the courier to come. If the wind blows just right they ~may~ pitch up shortly after 9am. 11.22am, looks like they won't be coming today. I need to leave soon. I have no way of contacting them they don't give a number to call. This is an absolutely aweful way for a courier company to run a service. I guess the delivery guy may write snarky comments on the parcel when it does get delivered. That happened some months ago.

It is really a travesty from Bonitas and co.

I am fed up with the poor service, uncer*****ies and delays. This is my needed medication.

I would please like to collect my meds from a good local pharmacy (Clicks, Dischem etc) without being punished with copayments
