False Advertising
The pregnancy benefits on Bonitas Standard Select 2019 benefits brochure indicate "R1220 for Ante-Natal Classes".
I recently put in a claim for ante-natal classes to the value of R1000 and was told that they will only cover R253 as R253 is the scheme rate for one ante natal class.
This is false advertising as no where on the brochure was it indicated that Bonita's cover R253 per class up to a maximum of R1220.
After calling Bonita's and requesting a document which details all the special clauses attached to the benefits, Bonita's apparently don't have any document of this nature. Therefore as a Bonitas customer how must I make informed decisions? Should I call Bonitas before putting in each claim?
The extent to which Bonita's will go to not pay out on advertised benefits is astounding.
I want this resolved.
