Every year I am asked to verify income yet I have been with Bonitas for years now

Each year, I am asked to provide proof of this income. However, I must highlight that obtaining a statement from the SASSA office in Johannesburg is a significant challenge. I currently reside with my daughter in Randburg and must travel to Johannesburg to request this statement. The process is often difficult due to the unhelpful and, at times, disrespectful treatment I have experienced at the SASSA office, particularly as an elderly person. I have been with Bonitas for many years now, but every year I must go through the painful exercise of having to provide proof of income, and having to get mistreated at the SASSA offices just for a statement, can Bonitas be considerate and not keep asking me to verify proof of income, as a 72 year old we only recive a sassa grant.
