Do not trust Bonitas brochures
I have been a member on the Primary Select Option since January 2022. Under In-Hospital Benefits it clearly states: "THIS BENEFIT OFFERS COVER FOR MAJOR MEDICAL EVENTS THAT RESULT IN A BENEFICIARY BEING ADMITTED TO HOSPITAL". Nowhere are any exclusions listed. I now have to go to hospital to have a procedure done on my back. The request for authorization was declined. the reason being: "THIS OPTION DOES NOT COVER SPINAL SURGERY".
