Dissapointment

I have sent emails and No one came back to me regarding this: I have been a loyal customer for years and very seldom use my medical aid, but when I do need it in the time of crisis I am disappointed with the outcome. I was told with ANY EMERGANCY which is trauma/ in hospital it would be covered in full! Well now with the new thing is after talking to one of the consultants today is that I as a customer must get an authorisation number for the incident, HOW THE HELL IF I AM AT THE HOSPITAL AND UNDER THE IMPRESSION IT WILL BE SORTED OUT as like the past. I never had to worry about any emergency accounts in the past, all was taken care of but NOT NOW. I feel I pay for a service every month but when I need it in the time of CRYSIS YOU ARE NOT THERE FOR ME or my scheme has changed and I ONLY GET SURTAIN STUFF OUT/GET COVERD FOR!!!!!!!! After submitting the account to you, I not yet have heard any news from you regarding my query due to an emergency that should be FULLY covered by Bonita’s as I was told when I took the cover AND BEEN A LOJAL CUSTOMER FOR YEARS TOO, or is there something I should know due to medical aids like to change their packages and benefits without notifying the customers about it! I know and was told that all emergency’s will be covered in full as long as you go to the network hospitals, which I did. I even phone our Dr Niewoudt that day and asked him if I should bring her to him, he advise me that due to a head injury (hence AN EMERGANCY)the best is to take her straight to hospital ER, and I did.

No need for a referral from Dr `cause it is an emergency!

The hospital is sending me sms and email of amounts of R 743.72 & R 697.50 outstanding and also the trauma dr account of R 537.19 also outstanding with medical aid only paid R 149.00 of this bill due to no authorisation number.

Nobody have come back to me regarding this all I get is “claim acknowledgements but not the reasons” why it is getting rejected, if I knew from day one I would have sorted it out and I would not be writhing this email to you now!!!!

PLEASE CAN YOU GIVE ME/WOULD IT BE POSSABILE TO GET AN AUTHORASATION NUMBER FOR THE ABOVE ACCOUNTS (SEE ATTACHED DOCUMENTS) SO I CAN RE-SUBMIT/ GIVE THE AUTHORASATION NUMBER(S) TO THE HOSPITAL AND TRAUMA DR SO THAY CAN-RESUBMIT THE BILLS FOR PAYMENTS!

Your co-operations would be appreciated.

I am also busy with my financial advisor and is looking around for other medical aids!
