Dishonest and *************

I took Bonitas because they promised me a no waiting period if I joined in June. In August everything changed and I am now on waiting period after discovering I was pregnant. I had no knowledge of the pregnancy when I signed up in May. I was told in July when I got sick and went to the Dr. My first pregnancy I only discovered at 13weeks which is a Second trimester. How dare Bonitas accuses me of lying thus is what upset me even worse. They then changed from no waiting period to a waiting period and their decision wad final. If this is how they handle clients I don't know how can I trust them especially as a paying customer. I was advised by them to go do blood tests not even once did they mention that I will be on a waiting period from July, they imposed it in August and backdated it to start in July. I now have bills from the lab to settle. I am so hurt yet I don't want to put myself at risk by adding stress. They deceived Me by offering a no waiting period then impose it 2months later.

The maternity program brochure has minimal information and what I was told is not even there.

I have a right to equality, choice, disclosure and information but none of that have been given to me by Bonitas.
