Disgusting service

I am completely and utterly disappointed and disgusted with the service I have received from Bonitas. I am on the Boncap option and was under the impression that I would be allocated up to R3060 for acute medication, x-rays and blood tests. However, this is not the case. I went in for routine first trimester blood tests to landing, which was ordered by my doctor and am now being left out of pocket as according to Lancet, these blood tests are an exclusion on Boncap. How can you pick and choose when to include or exclude certain bloods? No where in any contract did I read that this specific blood test would be excluded. Then what exactly am I paying for? Also, I have sent numerous emails to boncap since September, and not once has a consultant called me back or attempted to make any contact with me. It is unfortunate that I will have to stay on this medical aid until I deliver my baby but will be canceling my membership and going back to discovery as soon as I can, and I will also advise others to do so as well. Boncap is a poorly run subsidiary of Bonitas and has clear mismanagement and complete disregard for your clients. I am also certain that this review too will fall on deaf ears as it seems nobody works at Boncap!!
