Deduction after termination date

Change of dependant form 2022 completed at Medscheme Durban on the 01 october 2022 iro termination of adult dependant. On the 02 October 2022 (sunday) contributions for main member and adult dependant deducted by bonitas (R5076.86). On the 06 October 2022 email from bonitas confirming receipt and acknowledgement of dependant termination dated 31 October 2022. On the 01 November 2022 R1409.86 for main member and R3667.00 for adult dependant deducted by bonitas. Bonitas alleges that the deduction made after the termination date 01 November 2022,were payable in arrears for October 2022. To date there is no proof of any outstanding debt. In addition the actions of bonitas is deemed wrongful and ******** on the basis that the contractual obligation between the adult dependant and bonitas ceased on 31 October 2022. On 02 December 2022 an amount of R4230.00 deducted by bonitas for the main member. The deduction for the main member is R1409.86 being a group member subsidized by his employer. The amount of R3667.00 +R2820.14 (R6487.12) is now owing to the member. Unjustified deductions is a financial invasion, punishable by law.
