I would like to seek some advice on n matter from someone how is more informed then me on matters like this.<br> My grandmother is n Bonita's (Boncap) member she is almost 80 years of age and in February 2015 we moved her to Bloemfontein to help her with her everyday needs like taking her to the doctor ens. When I started to handle her finances I noticed on her bank account that she was paying double the amount for her medical aid since Feb 2015. I phoned Bonita's to query her premium. Bonita's explained to me that she didn't complete her income declaration and that's why she was paying the increased premium but ones I complete and return the income declaration thy will correct it on there system and so they did.But then I phoned them again and asked them to refund me for the extra money the deducted. The response to my question/request was\ No they don't refund clients on contributions that was deducted. They are robbing the elderly people of there hard earned pension."
